Please use the following as a summary description of the FollowMe life insurance plan (no medical life insurance).

Eligibility

You are eligible to apply for FollowMe life insurance if:

• your age is between 18 and 69.
• you are a Canadian resident.
• you were neither ill nor injured when your group life insurance coverage ended.

Wide Variety in Amount of Coverage Available

You are eligible to apply for the same amount of FollowMe Life coverage as you had with your group plan or less.

There are eight  coverage levels: $25,000, $50,000, $75,000, $100,000, $125,000, $150,000, $175,000 and $200,000.

Your spouse can also choose any amount of coverage that is up to (equal or less than) the coverage amount that she or he had under your group life plan. Your partner can also apply using the same Application Form as yourself.

Affordability

The premiums for FollowMe are very competitive. For example, a female non-smoker that is 50 years old only pays $34/month for $100,000 worth coverage.

Guaranteed Renewable

Your coverage is guaranteed to be renewable up to 80 years old, irregardless of any health conditions.

Non-Smoker Rates

Non-smokers get up to a 60% savings on their premiums, as compared to equivalent smoker's rates.

Living Benefit at No Cost

If you become terminally ill then you are eligible to get back a portion of your benefits (this is subject to certain policy restrictions and limitations).

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

If you aren't totally satisfied with your coverage then just contact Manulife Financial within 30 days, and you will receive a full refund of the premiums you have paid.

Convenient Payment Options

Monthly premiums can be paid by pre-authorized bank withdrawal, or by credit card (e.g. Visa, MasterCard, or American Express).
